The LC FL Veterans Collection of Memoirs now has 4 Volumes; the first three editions for WWII and the first edition for the KOREAN WAR. Anyone can go to the Cooper Memorial Library to view it, but the collection is not available to be checked out.
The FRIENDS of Cooper Memorial Library Veterans History Project Committee are pre-planning for the second edition of the KOREAN WAR - 5th Volume of the LC FL Veterans Collection of Memoirs.
Copies of the 3 Volumes done for the WWII are also available for viewing at the Clermont Historic Village Museum in Downtown Clermont in the "Quonset Hut WWII Museum".
For more information or if you are a KOREAN WAR veteran residing at Clermont, Groveland, Mascotte, Minneola and Montverde who are interested in contributing your war stories to be included in the next edition, and/or would like to volunteer as interviewer or proof reader please contact Audrey @ 352-536-9954.
